Swami Shivananda Sarvhitkari Sr. Sec. School, Morinda (Roopnagar) is one of the branches of Sarvhitkari Educational Society (Regd.) Chandigarh (Punjab. Today this school is having more then 3 Acres of its own land which is near the new railway station, Morinda situated at Chd.-Ldh. bye pass road. School is providing all facilities for the all around development of students.
In 1991 school was running classes upto 8th standard. At that time it was a small sapling which has now bloomed into a big tree. It had got affiliation upto matric in 1994. In the year 2004 this school has been upgraded to Sr. Sec. Level in the streams of Medical, Non-Medical, Commerce & Arts. Students of this school are regularly participating in extra curricular activities at various levels like State Level & National Level. This school has its own position in Educational field.
